Malaika’s CFO, Adriana Henriquez, and Program Manager, Eileen Walmsley, attended the Clinton Global Initiative’s Winter Meeting in New York. Members presented their next-phase plans for development work in Africa and around the world.
Eileen, together with our Director, Yamandou Alexander, also attended a special screening of the documentary Virunga. Executive Producer, Leonardo DiCaprio presented this powerful film about the work of the rangers who protect the endangered mountain gorillas in Virunga National Park, in Eastern DRC.
