Internet has become crucial as a tool for communication, learning, building and more. During lockdown, the less-than-perfect internet situation at our community center became all the more apparent. With Zoom webinars with the world, remote learning, virtual trainings and more, our staff and students in Kalebuka needed better access.
After a few months without internet at our community center, we are happy to now be working with Longin Tech, a local company that installed a satellite and other resources to provide us with much stronger internet. We’re always improving, and this will really help our teachers and community members to learn on a level with peers worldwide.
