Rebecca Kabuya is a star. She not only serves as a rock on our staff, but she has done an incredible job translating and speaking important truths during our recent webinars. She’s an English teacher, but she does so much more.
“Despite the lockdown, we have held many interesting activities at Malaika in June,” Rebecca says.
“Through our webinar series, our students’ voices have been heard across the country and other continents, as well. We have also taken advantage of this imposed break to teach English to our local staff and it is amazing to witness the staff’s commitment to learning, though we can’t wait to welcome our students back to the classrooms.”
