With our student body steadily growing as we educate and empower more girls in the Kalebuka community, it was time to add to our school buildings. We were delighted to receive keys to the new classrooms as a lovely way to cap out the end of the year, on Dec. 30.
These two rooms will serve as learning areas for our Grade 5 and 6 secondary girls, so they can have the space they need to thrive. We’re grateful to Pictet Bank Foundation, who made this addition possible. We’re also so thankful to the builders, led by head constructor Norbert, who spent countless hours pouring their craftsmanship and care into making a structure that will benefit the community as a whole despite the shutdown.
This has been a highly anticipated project, so we can better serve our student body and community, and we’re very excited that it’s completed!
