Hi everyone!
My name is Emma Letcher and I am a recent high school graduate from Madison, Wisconsin. I have only been volunteering with Malaika for a short period of time but I am amazed with the generosity of those I have worked with and the sponsors with whom I have spoken to. Everyone here shares the same vision of giving girls in Africa the education they deserve as well as bettering the community.
I have always enjoyed working with non profit organizations and being a part of something bigger than myself. Working for an organization like Malaika has been an incredible experience as I have been able to see first hand the life changing effects of the sponsors and workers on the community.
I look forward to seeing the organization grow and evolve over time and am incredibly thankful for this opportunity.
