Parents a child’s first, and often strongest, role model. Malaika’s parents learn alongside their children, work and volunteer at the school and community center. they take a vested interest in their children’s lives. Mothers learn to sew and volunteer in the kitchen for example, while fathers help with the football or agricultural programs.
We’ve been celebrating these parents who comprise so many facets of life at Malaika and in our students’ lives at home, for Global Day of Parents and every day.
